I’ve been following this story for the last few days because I found it interesting and well it effing pissed me off. This is the most detailed coverage I’ve seen yet.
CRCD AUG 13, CRCD MAR 14, CP AUG 14, CR MAR 15, Shivworks ECQC, MVT RIFLEMAN, CTT AUG 16, CQBC
First coverage I have seen since the story broke last week. Seems like this was handled poorly on both ends but if this accounting is accurate it was very poorly handled by the officers and they should face homicide charges.
Though my Monday morning QB wants the say that Mr. Yantis should have known better then to try and do anything involving shooting without talking to the cops considering the current “hostile” environment officers find themselves in. Small beans though compared to the officers handling of the situation.
Unfortunately all we have is what one side says happened in an incident.
In high stress situations, perception can be easily distorted. I’ll hold out for the other side of the story before framing my opinion.
Well at least we have some more information, been waiting to hear more of what actually happened.
Will be interesting what the ISP have to say.
