As worn today at FoF in Idaho (sported by Greg), and looking really good, so low profile they fit well under the mesh mask, and did not fog up for him at all:

Class AAR from CQBC touched on this. Any gap during CQB training is dangerous. We had several rounds enter the eye area around the goggle seal. Also one between the seam of the helmet to goggle area that caused minor skin puncture. One round broke the face mesh screen. We need a better solution for close range melee. Wild Bill had a whole head mask/helmet combo that may work better in a higher humidity environment.

Are the Revision goggles I just bought adequate?Revision Locust
I’m not worried about a skin puncture, but I need my eyes.

Your eyes will be fine. Just understand that there will probably be gaps. It’s possible, but not likely a round could zip past/through the gap.
The paintball style mask/helmet setups and lower velocity UTM rounds will mitigate this.

utmworldwide.com under products/ safety training equipment has 2 different eye protection setups shown. I will contact them tomorrow to see about price & if we would have to go thru a distributor or can deal direct.
They have groin protectors and other equipment also.
Sorry about no links- couldn’t get it figured out.

Ok. Just back in VA after a 36 hour drive from Idaho.
Stop on the UTM masks, I actually have them and try to steer you away from them. I will be writing a clarifying article.
Basics are ballistic eye protection and no exposed skin. Issues are gaps between goggles and mash masks/ helmets and exposed skin. FoF you can get away with a gator plus goggles. CQB we recommend hard face protection. The issue is fitting goggles with mesh mask/helmet so there ate no gaps for utm to scoot through.
Will be posting over next couple days. Either a solutio like pictured, or an over-head paintball mask like I have and have posted about. Give me a couple of days.
