Here’s a video of Kurdish forces assaulting a building and attempting to get some jihadists to surrender. There’s a lot going on here.
A few of my observations:
-nice use of heavy equipment to create breach point
-guy with a SAW flags the hell out of his team
-not really securing the EPW and crowding the hell out of him
-they tried really hard to soften the target before entering
-the body language as they’re entering the building at the end leads me to think they thought the objective was secured prematurely

Yeah, there’s a lot going on alright. What a complete and utter cluster fuck. Go Kurds, but other than the NATO equipment this looks like any other Arab army/militia/gang – things seem to start with a decent plan but as soon as things kick off execution turns into a tempest of shit soup.
Watching that suicide vest go off all I hear is Max:
“THE POSITION IS NOT CLEAR UNTIL YOU CLEAR IT! THEY ARE ALIVE UNTIL YOU GET THERE!”
