    Maybe you guys have seen this, but I found this old field manual FM21-75 from 1944. I’ve only glanced through it but it’s written in a straightforward manner.

    What say you cadre? Any value?

    I always enjoyed collecting manuals like these. I have a Paladin copy of one very similar to this written by Rex Applegate just called “Scouting and Patrolling.”

    I, too, am curious about how useful these things are today. My guess would be that they still have value in a lot of situations.
