So about 4 months ago I purchased a pws mk116 after I sold my sig 556 classic, never been happier, ergonomics are exactly as should be expected with a good ar, accuracy is fantastic with primary arms 1-6 powered scope, the piston system works exactly as advertised, clean smooth and efficient. I really appreciate the sleek key mod rail system, it’s slim enough to grab very comfortably. Over all, great rifle.
I know you’re used to a Sig556 so the weight penalty (if any) over DI may not jump out at you (I run both DI and piston systems)
Have you weighed it prior to accessory installation?
I love that the Mk116 has a 1 in 8 barrel and a Wylde Chamber
Even though we are not gear-centric, I must say you now officially have the hottest rifle on the forum!
Thanksfor the compliment!the 223 wylde chamber and 1 in 8 twist sold me on the pws! According to the website it weighs in at 6lbs 10oz just stock rifle. With my accessories it weighs right at 9.2lbs
