A topic dear to my heart. Yes, I will never be allowed to retake Rhodesia, I know. But I am reading articles about South Africans (The White Type) seeking asylum in the US. No doubt State will deny it, cocksuckers!
But what to do. I was discussing with my wife that we would offer to receive / put familys up at our farm. They are after all farmers, so I woud expect work for room and board!
Is this happening? What can we do?March 8, 2018 at 1:39 pm #56576JohnnyMacParticipant
If some of the info on the website is accurate (namely 30% government assistance with 4% taxpayers) that sounds like a recipe for disaster.
A former mentor of mine traveled to South Africa a few years ago with his significant other who is from there. He had major culture shock and his main point when I asked for specifics, was the incredibly high levels of security (hardened structures with serious security measures, roving security patrols, etc). From the sounds of it, most are expecting trouble.March 8, 2018 at 3:00 pm #56580RobertParticipant
Writing has been on the wall there for a long, long time from the looks of it. Just seeing the mask start to come off now.
Can you sponsor a white family coming over from SA?

Worst thing is no one will even care on a national level. I can all ready hear the liberals in this country saying they had it coming.

anything we can do as individuals? “sponsor” families or something like that? SA is going to continue to be a shit show for the foreseeable future.
edit: Robert asked the same thing; was covered by the Suidlanders motion graphic/thingy…

Sad situation. I have watched some of the videos of the group that is pushing the anti white farmer stuff. They are mad as hatters. Bunch of thugs. But the overall society in SA is not condemning them. Kind of reminds me when we have Muslim people that do crazy stuff. Most Muslims don’t condem them.March 8, 2018 at 8:55 pm #56600A_A_Ron2gunsParticipant
The biggest problem they’re facing is the restrictions on taking wealth with them. They can’t exit the country with their savings and no one wants to buy their land because they won’t have to once the government takes it. It’s incredibly sad and extremely racist. I don’t have a farm but if I did I’d be offering asylum.

I have an employee from SA and her family is still there “down on the farm”. We’ve talked about it a lot and her family doesn’t know what to do. They can’t sell, they can’t move their money, and they don’t have family outside of SA except her! And she’s living with her in laws! It truly is a mess. Maybe one of those “Whitehouse Petitions” on whitehouse.gov.

I hesitated to post this as it has a kinda Doomsday Prepper vibe. One thing I did notice was the firearms hanging on the wall. I’m glad to see they may have a means for defense. I was under the impression SA citizens were largely disarmed…officially.
Edit: I did some digging and it seems firearm ownership is allowed but there are multiple hoops to jump thru.

There was a rural militia they called the the South African Commando System until 2003, the disbandment of it has been linked to the rise of these farm attacks.
They have a complicated licensing system but it’s not impossible to get firearms for self-defense in SA, unlike say Europe.
Sad to consider the whole Afrikaans culture could get extinguished, they were pretty much the only European-descent ethnicity to really develop within Africa.

Defensible borders, they don’t have them and now they are going to get the usual land redistribution that mankind periodically does to one another.
