Your about twenty-five years too late to make use of the term militia in a positive light!
It’s not just the Left’s stereotype, I tend to roll my eyes when it’s mentioned, thinking “A bunch of crazy, out of shape goofballs playing army.”
Not to mention way too much ego with little to back it up.
Anyone can call themselves whatever they want,…[Read more]
Forget use of the term militia, can’t overcome this stereotype.
I don’t see this gaining traction officially; at least nationally, consider the hype surrounding arming teachers. While arming teachers is happening at many local areas it’s stigma is difficult for the ignorant to overcome.
The fact that many are choosing to fight is related to the…[Read more]
Though it is beyond the scope and accepted standards to get into the DIY details in this forum, open bolt submachine guns are the simplest firearms to manufacture with rudimentary equipment beyond the zipgun.
In a post event scenario where current NFA laws are no longer applicable, I expect there would be an amazing variety created.
Discrete compact firepower.
Something for Robert.
A cool thing about the M11; which was almost a useless (IMHO) design, it has been given new life due to Lage Manufacturing. They have developed conversions make the M11 a useful weapon and are even developing a 5.56mm upper that will be available soon.
Everyone should try to get some trigger time in for a famfire.
If you don’t know anyone with them, check out if there are any rental ranges in your area.
The point from my perspective is to at least have an idea of the safe operation.
Full-auto is obviously fun, I’ve never known anyone that didn’t have a smile the first time. There are many…[Read more]
Even though it is truly a niche item within most circles I thought it maybe fun to discuss differences between open bolt and closed bolt firearms use.
I’ve brought up the potential use of submachine guns and pistol caliber carbines post event due to numerous examples in circulation. SMG’s are the most prolific NFA firearm.
All closed bolt guns…[Read more]

It can’t happen here, we’re different! (sarcasm)
Here is something I was just discussing…
…the problem is there are many evil acts that average people do not want to believe. It is too far beyond their reality or that these acts are something that happens in other places. That we are some how different.
They couldn’t be more…
So where have I heard this before?
Glad we got that cleared up!
Which has been happening regularly for the last 119 years, I don’t see it stopping regardless without a major reset. Such a reset will not happen within the system.
Unless some other “black swan” event precedes it, you’re correct.
Which has been an utter failure, never prevented me from drinking.
I wouldn’t choose a rooftop! ;-)…[Read more]

This is the link for the documentary “Scamble the Seawolves” which I highly recommend.
It is an hour and twenty-seven minutes long.
I’ve been a NRA Life Member for decades and haven’t given them a dime since I can’t remember how long. At least twenty years.
GOA is a better organization, but activism alone isn’t enough.
A new group will just muddy the waters IMHO.
People just need to not comply and it’s already happening in most areas.
Show me any me any recent laws that…[Read more]

I am glad you posted this.
Here’s a video of the modern version, unfortunately fairly tame, but it’s a lot more difficult to get more these days.
Not all cyber attacks are created equal, a wide variety of capabilities are out there.
I’ll throw another little tidbit out there regarding SCADA…
…it’s not just a software and network communication issue.
You did and we both missed it didn’t post.
Will be looking forward hearing more details.
Yes, thank you Rampantraptor for posting this.
I am a little more than halfway through the series.
There is much value to this series and it is certainly interesting; if at times difficult, listening to how the left views this possibility.
He at least tries to see things from the Rights perspective at times, though it maybe more verbal than…[Read more]

Though much of this makes for interesting conversation and it’s certainly important to understand the threat.
This understanding is important for preparations and spreading the word to the ignorant.
What is of little use is the idea that we can come up with a plan for the Government to implement to prevent this or even mitigate this threat.
