Repeal everything not explicitly authorized by a Constitutionally enumerated power and the 16th Amendment. That would be a good start.

Exactly! I live in the great northwoods. We had 70 below zero days this winter, 23 of them were consecutive. Base layers are everything when it comes do dealing with cold. In the winter I always wear silk or some kind of synthetic base layer followed by wool or poly-pro.
The undie question is about summer wear. Thanks for all the great…[Read more]

Not to sound perverted, but what underwear do you active guys prefer? My Walmart boxer-briefs aren’t really doing it for me during hikes and strenuous physical activity. I like comfort, and they’re just not cutting it.
I don’t really want to spend $20-30 per pair on Under-Armor if I can find an affordable alternative. Thanks in advance!

Thanks again guys. This should be a fun project. I’ve been impressed with Palmetto’s offerings. While I understand the caution about their P-TAC line, the P-TAC lower parts kits seem to get good reviews. They’re said to be mil-spec, made in USA kits. I’m thinking of going this direction since it’s my first build and will basically be a truck gun…[Read more]

Great thread! There is a lot our side can learn from the left in terms of protest logistics. While the progs’ politics are awful, their tactics and practical skills in the streets have been propelling their cause for decades. We definitely need a handbook for formal training.

Thanks for all the great info. Holy crap, there’s a lot of options. I’m trying to keep it affordable but decent quality.
I really like the Midway videos! I’ve bought from them for years and never realized they offered so many great, free gunsmithing videos. Fantastic resource!
Of course AR15.com is also a great resource.

George Haystack replied to the topic Philosophy: Natural Rights – Discussion in the forum The Lounge 4 years, 10 months ago
“Natural rights,” properly conceived, are liberties: Freedom of speech, press, assembly, defense of self, etc, are forms of freedom. As humans, we are a beings capable of action, unlike rocks, which are passive. We are self-aware, rational, deliberative, and free-willed beings, unlike animals, which act primarily on instinct and are not…[Read more]

I’m planning to build an AR-15. I’d like to know what books, videos, websites or other resources will be handy for me as I make my first attempt. I know I’ll need a few tools, etc., but what I’m really looking for are good “how to” instruction. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

George Haystack replied to the topic Study concludes: US is an oligarchy, not a democracy in the forum The Lounge 4 years, 10 months ago
It was supposed to be a Republic, not a democracy or an oligarchy.
The whole point in the beginning was to create a limited government with a small number of enumerated powers.
Obviously that’s not what we have now.

George Haystack replied to the topic Camo Pattern Gear and Clothing- Where To Buy? in the forum Firearms and Gear Talk 4 years, 10 months ago
Ebay has some stupid policies, but it is a great source for gear. Over the past year I’ve sold off stuff I don’t care about (old comics, household stuff I don’t use, etc.) and rolled the money into a good assortment of Gear: Mag pouches, rucks, vests, helmet, the works. I’ve picked up some USGI equipment (both new and used), HSGI tacos, Blackhawk…[Read more]

I’ve been reading various liberty blogs for over a decade. Read War On Guns before Sipsey Street even existed. Found WRSA shortly after that. I’ve seen a every variety of conflict from juvenile pissing matches to serious conflicts with legal implications.
At the end of the day, we’re all on the same team. Sure, we’ve got our different opinions…[Read more]

I’m not sure this is the right place to post this question.
We’re having the worst winter on record up here in northern Minnesota and range time is limited. I’m looking for recommendations for some training videos to watch while I do my PT in the basement.
Any thing from basic weapon handling skills to field tactics would be appreciated. I’d…[Read more]

Building an 80% receiver for opsec reasons makes sense. Discussing it on the internet, not so much.
Not trying to bust anyone’s balls, but if your intentions are stated online, you should assume your enemy can know what you’re doing.

The criminality described in this excellent piece is coming to your area soon. I live in a small midwestern city. It’s always had its problems, but in the last 10-15 years it has had a dramatic influx of criminals. This is encouraged by my town’s leftist “leadership” in the name of “social justice.” They have created a vast network of governmental…[Read more]

Well said!
I joined this forum because I am tired of living in relative silence. The “toxic narrative of the mainstream” wants us to feel guilty about cherishing life, liberty, and property. We need to reject this narrative and live out our values.
That said, it is important to realize that while we believe we are within the law, those who…[Read more]

I think Arthur L. is right on. I’ve been studying economics seriously for about 10 years (Austrian School) and can’t find a flaw in his analysis. I see a couple of options:
(1) A relatively precipitous collapse in 1-3 years. Dollar loses reserve status and then fiat currencies collapse around the globe. War and calamity on a global scale as the…[Read more]

I agree that there are too many of us, with too much will and determination, for them to really turn the tide. Any provocation would just strengthen our resolve and swell our numbers.
While I’m wary of strangers, I’m open to meeting new people of like mind. My solo practice sessions are getting dull.
