I think the windows are well worth it, but that’s just my opinion.

@Roadkill – how often were y’all let out of the cage?? (From an old PHL man)
Our first rule was try before you pry ….. I introduced this concept to SWAT – you’d be surprised how many people don’t lock their doors. Many times, we just turned the door knob and snuck on in

@Roadkill – why did you immediately shift to moving. Unless you are suggesting my pirate autonomous republic in Rhodesia, which you are not, because none of you fuckers have the imagination for plans for world domination lol, then this still remains the best hope, in terms of the vestiges of the consitution.
But make no mistake, there is a lot…[Read more]

Very same experience here and have done a lot on the ground, dragging pistol(s) against body, belt, shoe, holster, side of someone’s head, etc. to charge it. Didn’t even know about the sights being plastic as OEM from the factory. Found that out at DCH when the rear sight came off one of my 26s.

@roadkill – thanks……been running Glocks for 20+ years (5 on SWAT, early 90s) without problems but will go back and double-check all. Thanks for the heads-up!

@Roadkill: Indeed, like a dream come true, building a team.
Maybe it’s like in a professional work environment: good help is difficult to find, period.
Same kind of thing with finding people who are willing to train, learn, then push themselves to get better, and have the mentality of continuous improvement.

@jwf – It would be great if I could read everyone’s mind, but I can’t. So a response, whether it be OK or a fuck you would be nice.
@Roadkill – If hitting the slide release on a pistol under stress is so hard, then there is no way that anyone should be able to rotate the safety on an AR to fire or hit the bolt release on an AR. Those are both so…[Read more]

@Roadkill Releasing the slide stop is quantitatively the most efficient way to execute a reload. Can a sweaty thumb slip on glock’s little slide stop, you bet. Anything is possible when millions of rounds go through hundreds of thousands of weapons, but I’ve never experienced or seen failure to battery directly due to the use of the slide…[Read more]

@Johnnymac glad to hear you like the new optic! Both you and @Roadkill have experiences similar to my own. Some of this is in response to you guys, some is extra info for other people who may read this. Maintain context of civilians doing Team Tactics.

@Roadkill– Roger, they are sturdy. I am not saying you have to change them out. It is just something that most people over look. Especially changing out the foam inserts.
@HiDesertRat– I am not saying that you wont feel it if you get hit in the hands, because you will. Just that you can go overboard and have to much crap on that you are in-effective.

@Roadkill – the AAC Brakeout – half flash, half brake, Or as others might say, one that does neither particularly well ;) It’s proprietary for the AAC can. <12.5″ barrels are just plain loud regardless of what’s on the end (can excluded)

Thanks for the ideas @Roadkill Looks like we’re starting to see a pattern here. High Intensity Interval Training. Everybody has their own flavor but it boils down to the same basic principle.
FWIW my regimen is also HIIT based but a little more spread out through the body. Definitely build yourself up to doing workouts in gear.
